Hong Kong Michelin Street Food, Lee Garden Guesthouse

Hong Kong (HK) is a place for food. Most will agree with this!
Some websites or someone will even put it this way....
"If you don't try this or that when visit HK, then you never been to HK"
"Hong Kong best food...."
"Hong Kong top food....."
And now there is this "Michelin Street Food in Hong Kong"
(Michelin guide are a series of annual guide books published by the French company Michelin for more than one hundred years - Wikipedia)

I came across this website HERE who introduce Michelin street food in HK. Without much clue anyway, we decided to try some which we can find and near to MTR. (remember that we have unlimited train trips for 24 hrs so why not)

First stop Wan Chai station since nearer to Sheung Wan station.
Exit B2, you will see a huge playground like a community centre. During my visit, there was renovation work and was shield up outside this exit. Watch out for Johnston road. The small stall just 2 mins walk away. No seats. Stand and consume or take away.

1) "Kelly’s Cape Bop" @ 57 Johnston Road, Wan Chai
 Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki, kimbap
Look like sushi are Kimbap with tuna HK$50 (taste okay like sushi my rating, 3/5),
Egg rolls with vege HK$50 (taste good when hot, 3.5/5). Both are good healthy food. They are all hand made with no MSG. Will be great if our local breakfast coffeeshop stall sell these.
Korean Fried Chicken bites with original sauce HK$50. (I love this chicken, only chicken, but presentation can be better, 4/5)

 2) Another Michelin street food near similar station. (map & direction below)
"Keung Kee" @ 382 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai,
*When arrived at 382, go to the side street as shown on above map.

Forgotten what are these dessert name. Anyway not many dessert choices. They selling famous glutinous rice but i didn't try. Too full and usually do not eat much rice. Dessert i give them 3.5/5.
Seller don't seem in the mood pull a long face. Money not well spent.

Continue walking down, you will see a fly over, and keep right walking under the fly over (maybe just follow the crowd), will get to Time Square shopping mall. The MTR "Causeway Bay" station will be there.

Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station exit D1 - On the way to Lee Garden Hotel
there is this Michelin mini-stall at around Map point 1.

3) Mammy Pancake @ 8-12 Carnarvon Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
Business looks great, Q always there when we passby again. The stall face front is so small.
How pancake look like? This the one! Taste okay when hot. Not too sweet.
If you love pancake, then will like this. Mostly youngster in the Q. (3.75/5).

My HK first night stay will be at this Lee Garden Guest House. I noticed Weekend Sat stay
for many hotel/guesthouse are double the price, especially at this busy district. The lift is
still old type where we need to push/pull open.
The room expected was very small, with a small toilet too. It doesn't come cheap, about SGD$100 during Sat. Air-con was noisy. I would prefer EverGreen hotel even to pay slightly more.
(Map point 2) This shop selling cakes like cheesecakes, egg tart is packed.
Noticed few fellows even Q all the way, just buy one piece to eat. Must be great!
