*Remember to check the correct carpark as certain zone only allow maximum 3 hours of parking.
Purchased the ferry ticket and hire the bicycle.
Large crowd already waiting enthusiastically at the ferry terminal.
We will picked our Bike at Rottnest Island.
The huge beautiful Heron was there to welcome us!
Ain't this crowd like Marathon or cycling race event! This island also their local favorite place during holiday week to unwind.
We were there during October and the weather was fantastic!
Every stops, i goes... Wow... so beautiful!!! I could just watch and loosen up on them.
Feel like dive into them.
Cyclists appreciating the picturesque scenery.
Everywhere i go, the beautiful ocean followed.
The lighthouse - can see cannot touch! Wait for me.... i will be there soon.
YEah, finally i am up here. Have a good stretch!
Is she the same Heron that welcome us? Let me ask.
Taking his own sweet time.
"The island earned its curious name when in 1696, Dutch explorer, William de Vlamingh,
mistook the island's unusual marsupial population for common rats and named it Rottnest -
literally translating to 'rats nest'."
This 'rats' were call Quokkas. It's one of the main highlights for tourists to take photo alongside them. You can touch them or even massage them, they would love it!
