It is the world's largest Buddhist temple and was listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Manohara hotel (look like Resort) is the only hotel strategically located at Borobudur.
The monument consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. The central dome is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues, each seated inside a perforated stupa. The temple is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues.
The masterpiece was surrounded by lush greenery with majestic mountain within sight.

Prepared to climb fleet of stairs, but will definitely earned back your effort.
Awesome! I was sort of worry will i get to see Sunrise. Everyday rain when i was there from 13-16 Oct 2016. This was the sky after rain. I am sure most of our visit will get different result.

We saw two mountains and this was the other. I think this was Mount Sindoro - Sumbing.
