The weather was great (around 26 degree) for a slow leisurely walk around "Dongmen Bridge Metro Station" 东门大桥. Walk with the local and feel their life.

Direction will not be wrong when you walking along Jin Jiang River.
You could see local older residents stroll with their dog and exercise with friends.

Here is the famous nightlife district - Lan Kwai Fong

I was here in morning when their "happening" and business time just ended.

During my visit, was closed for renovation. Understand on the bridge contained a very
huge restaurant, which was a popular dining location.

Fishing was a favourite recreation along this river.

5 Star Shangri-La Hotel around the corner
When you saw hotel, you knew it's tourist zone.
Those residential here should be more pricey.

Chengdu more tea house than coffee place.
(Map 7) "Jiao Chang Ba middle street" near Holiday Inn Hotel with the
lunch crowd. You definitely have extensive choice of local dishes.
Cycling was a popular transport, especially with the convenient rental bicycle.
