Observe the world: Day 1 Kuah

After top up petrol (RM60 last for 5 days), check in at Adya Hotel. It took us about 30 mins to reach. This hotel display name face a direction which i cannot see from the main road. You may want watch out for this color as it is a high rise block as well as it is beside "Langkawi Parade" shopping mall.

This is a 4 stars hotel. SGD$94 for a friday night, a day after Hari Raya. The room was clean and told with partial sea-view. I thought it look great from the beautiful balcony (below). Room 7008. Note that toothbrush not provided. With free Wifi and a big carpark. Buffet breakfast was included with omelette, prata, fruits/juices, cereal, toast bread, local spicy dishes, etc.

In the evening, we walk over to the Langkawi Parade mall (5 mins walk). Most shops close as it was Hari Raya. The mall was not that big, with a cinema and duty free shop selling chocolate. At night, dinner was completed at seafood restaurant about 3 mins drive away. There are many seafood restaurants but mostly very pack. You need to wait 30 mins to an hour for food to be served.
