5 dessert to try in Japan Tokyo

Recommended to try this dessert in Tokyo. Must try when i travel to Tokyo.

1. Anmitsu - it served in a bowl with sweet azuki bean paste, cubes of jelly, mochi and slices of fresh fruits. Cream Anmitsu is served with ice cream.



2. Taiyaki - fish shape pastry with assorted filling. You can find this in Singapore as well. Traditional version filled with sweet azuki red bean paste, nowadays you can find with custard, chocolate, cheese, etc.

3. Kohi Zeri - Chill Coffee Jelly. It is plated with ice cream, condensed milk or red beam paste.


4. Dango - Swee rice dumplings. Its served with wooden skewers in trio/quartet. Kuri Dango served coated with chestnut paste. Mitarashi Dango coated with sweet soy sauce glaze.


5. Daigaku-Imo - Glazed deep fried sweet potato with glossy & sticky sugar syrup and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
