4 days 3 nights at Cebu - Mactan - Olango

Morning flying to Cebu at 1100hrs. It a transit flight. I supposed Airline want to save cost - TigerAir.
(they may have direct flight as well but different departure time)

We landed at Kalibo (Philippines) around 1430hrs, alight with all luggage to transit area, about 30mins interval we board the same plane. I would say transaction was fast and fuss-free. 45mins later, we reached Mactan-Cebu International Airport. Look at the map below. We landed at Mactan island. There are two bridges that link up Mactan Island and Cebu City which we used few times.
I would advise not to request for Airport-transfer (from hotel) if it's not FREE. Why? You will find out soon.

Turn right after come out of arrival hall and look for this "White Taxi Stand"

You will see these endorsed "Meter-Taxi" waving at you saying "I am cheaper".

No lah, they didnt say that BUT it's true. The cost to our hotel was PHP240 (Peso) compared to Airport-transfer asking for PHP800. (SGD$1 = PHP32). Board the taxi and it start from PHP40.

3 nights stay at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

Map (point 1): That is our Waterfront Cebu City hotel.

*There is another Waterfront hotel at Mactan Island - Waterfront Airport Hotel. Don't misled by taxi.

Map (2): One of the popular shopping mall - Ayala Center Cebu. Not far away from Waterfront.

So fast night have fall. Sky turn dark at around 1815hrs. We throw our bags in the hotel room and quickly catch 6pm shuttle service to the mall. Just in time. Heng ah! (fortunately)

If you prefer stay next to shopping mall, Marriott Hotel is in vicinity.

Local dishes. One of the hot favorite - Lechon (top right @below photo)

You should be keen to know some of their prices. Yogurt fruits salad which i eat everyday cost PHP85. Whole Coconut PHP45.

I noticed their supermart always sell Durian. But no smell of them.

You may want choose these hotels that provide shuttle service.

Lovely and huge hotel with Casino.

Restaurants (Japanese/Western/others) around to satisfy your taste-bug.

Lobby has live band to entertain you.

Hotel provide shuttle service to two famous shopping mall. Time-schedule below.

Room is spacious and tidy. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast provided.

Awesome view from Room number 1230.

Not an exquisite Casino. Stage performance at night available. Prepare to be ask for tips whenever you win more on a game. House rules not that strict.

Main lobby is elegant.

All-inclusive buffet breakfast.

You will have two live counters serving omelette eggs and pancakes.

A section of bread & butter. Main dish, porridge, fruits and Salad.

Juices and variety of yogurt.

This is taken on my breakfast. I don't like the taste but it their local dish.

("Cebu is known for its danggit (“dang-git”)—salted, sun-dried rabbitfish, which are abundant and native to the island’s shallower waters. The fish are split open, cleaned, salted, and spread out on drying racks under the sun. Danggit is popular among locals as breakfast food, fried and paired with eggs, rice,etc".)

I love the hot maple pancake - prepare live.

4Stars hotel, sure there is a swimmimg pool. Nice?

Also a gym share with the public.
Hotel guests can attend those classes with a yellow round mark FREE.

Last day at lovely Cebu

Time always fly for holidays. It the last day. No worries, still have time. Where can we go?

@Colon Street - Do last minute shopping and

first time try Hair Protein Spa (P250 less than SGD$10)

Remember that i mentioned have two Waterfront hotel. This is the one beside airport.

*Please note we need to pay Php750 fee per person. So don't spend

all your peso.

This cafe is inside after you check-in. So no worries if you hungry.

There even has massage here.

Day 3 Cycling at Cebu Olango Island

This day has shown up!
I always prefer adventure to shopping. A full day to exploit Olango Island by cycling.
Here I come.... Ooooolango!

Highlights:
1. Pick up from hotel early morning 8am. Whole day trip.
2. Arrive at Mactan (Olango-hilton route) Map pt.3
3. Visit the bird sanctuary, bike on an island without cars.
4. Lunch at Talima resort.
5. Snorkeling nearby Talima resort.
6. Leave around 430pm.
