Kaohsiung Pier-2 Art Center and railway cultural park

We were back to Kaohsiung, so visiting Pier-2 Art center was one of the priority. Idea and creativity of artists brought back liveliness to this pier. And of cause social media as well. It was once abandoned warehouse at the pier, because shift of industrial segment to service sector.

We alighted at (Below Map point 1)"Yanchengpu station" and walked toward the sea/pier. Opposite the pier was actually Cijin island, which we head to on our first day.

When you walked along Dayong Road, will see this red artistic icon (Map pt 2). 
Maybe it will change?


(Map pt 3) Stalls setup during certain days or weekends. It energized the pier.





(Map pt 4) This should be the original huge warehouse colour. 
The metal door was rusty.


(Map pt T) The train "internal" station. It working with few stops within this district.

called "Kaohsiung Port Station".
