Useful Scenic Spots near Metro Station

Every night, you can visit different Night Market. Most of them are conveniently situated near Metro station. First night, I was at Raohe Night Market which is #1 (shopping spot) listed at Tripadvisor. It is just outside "SongShan Metro Station". Most often, you can find here are diverse street food. No stalls selling similar one. Those more creative/authentic will get snaking queue. Just don't eat too much at one stall. Be adventurous. Try this and try that.

Desserts are savory

Fruits are super sweet

This stall wasn't long queue but it taste great (4/5). So maybe don't waste your time joining the other with long Q. If happen you queue, then share with me how it scores?

More people looking/touching, then buying. (no sampling)
What is this? Why so special and so huge?

(Above) Alight at Xi Men Metro Station, Exit 6, and walk about 5 mins (follow map direction to point 1). This the hotel i stayed for two nights - Diary of Taipei Hotel Wanguo. Please be reminder that this company has more than one hotel. Mine was Wanguo.

Some highlights on this hotel.
1. Hotel rooms are all at 12th & 13th floors, which are above Cinema House. (I catch a show and my theater was at 10th floor so conveniently reach).
2. I stayed on 13th, no noise concern (read some complain of room sound proof worry). But the same lift do not reach 13th floor, have to walk to other end. That's tiresome if you need go out often.
3. Breakfast was given KFC voucher sets.
4. Room was clean but not big. Bed was satisfactory - not hard.
5. Location great - shopping/food area to keep you busy not too far away.

The Night (above) and the Day (Below) of Ximenting.
You decide when you want to visit.

From above map, you can walk up about 5-8 mins (arrow) from hotel to point 2. This stall (below) Egg Oster and Mee Sua were yummy (4.25/5). They have many other snacks.
Tour group bring members to try white bitter-gourd drink

Dog lovers will love this place. I was attracted to their lovely Golden (looks like she also love me). The above and below are different shops, not next to one another.
