When you at Miri, this is the National Park you must visit. Even you don't like Caves, treat it as an exercise and enjoy the nature. My advised was to bring torch light, wear gloves (at least one side), and go light (little). Just bring along small water bottle. You can choose to wear a cap if worry "drops".
You can bring snacks and leave it in your car. With my experience, I can guarantee you will not eat in the Cave, when you are sweaty and "dirty".The way to Cave took quite awhile.
We need to hold on railing coated with bat/bird shit, so it's wiser to wear glove (at least one side).
